Tests
In order to demonstrate that SEREN that the algorithms employed in SEREN are adequate for our simulations, and that they are coded correctly without any major bugs, we present a large suite of tests here with full descriptions of the initial conditions and detailed explanations of all the physics included. Many of the tests have been performed with different combinations of the available options in SEREN to highlight how effective these options are in certain situations and to perhaps alert the user to potential scenarios where a particular option may be undesriable due to unwanted numerical effects.
We note that not all of the following tests have been prepared yet for display on this web page, and will be forthcoming in the near future.
